At Giant Ibis, we put customer care at the core of our services, and we take passengers' safety and comfort seriously.
As Cambodia's leading responsible bus company, we offer services above and beyond our competitors, at reasonable prices. These include providing refreshments, breaks at comfortable service stations and reliable restaurants, wifi access and organising travel to and from accommodation, including tuktuk and taxi pickup at our stations.
Giant Ibis offers a range of routes within Cambodia and connecting the Kingdom with neighbouring Thailand and Vietnam. From Phnom Penh, we travel to the home of Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, the coastal resort of Sihanoukville, and Kep and Kampot. Other routes include Siem Reap to Bangkok and Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City.
We also run night buses from the capital to Siem Reap and have just launched an overnight service connecting Sihanoukville with Siem Reap. To ensure passenger safety, we employ two drivers, who change mid-way through the journey.
We also appreciate that time is tight when on holiday and, unlike many other bus companies, we do not stop to pick up and deliver packages along the way or make detours to collect passengers to fill up the bus.
As part of our customer commitment, we are constantly upgrading and extending our services. All of our vehicles are serviced regularly, and we are continually upgrading our fleet of buses and vans. We also provide wifi onboard, although it is intermittent as we drive through more remote areas and have power points, so passengers can keep their electricals charged.
In contrast to other bus lines, which make multiple stops for package shipment, we are fully dedicated to passenger travel. In this way we avoid the confusion with luggage and package delivery often experienced when travelling on other lines.
Giant Ibis is Cambodia's national bird of Cambodia. Called "troryorng" in Khmer, the bird is listed as endangered, with various programmes taking place in Cambodia to keep the species alive. We are proud to represent the Giant Ibis and we are dedicated to its conservation efforts by donating a portion of our profits to conservation programmes.
Home to ancient temples, pristine beaches, vibrant cities, thick jungle and remote mountains, Cambodia is a breath-taking country to explore, and we are delighted to play our part in serving you along the way.
